Executive search is the process of recruiting senior managers, typically by convincing them to leave their current employer and accept a position with a competitor.

In Romania as well as internationally, recruiting via an executive search firm is becoming the method of choice when it comes to filling high responsibility positions. Even though an experienced recruiter’s services don’t come cheap, they always prove to be a wise investment that more and more companies in Romania are now willing to make.

By outsourcing their recruitment processes to experienced executive search firms, companies are able to hire specialists who have previously held similar positions in organizations within the same activity field and who are thus capable of performing almost as soon as they have been hired. Particularly delicate recruitment missions can take up to a year to complete, which is sometimes the case with recruitment assignments where the Client knows exactly which person he wants for the position. Such candidates are usually satisfied with their current job, therefore they are not easily persuaded into making an immediate change and it takes the tactful approach of a highly experienced recruiter to pursue and convince them in time to accept the offer.
